The Experience

Before You Go

Bring your original driver’s license

Spanish law requires an original driving license in the Latin alphabet; no photocopies—international license recommended for non-Latin scripts.

Arrive 30 minutes early

Check-in and safety briefing are mandatory; late arrivals won’t be able to join and aren’t refunded.

Hydrate and layer

Two-hour rides expose you to sun, wind and temperature shifts—carry a water bottle and a light windproof layer.

Secure phone and valuables

Use a small dry bag or chest pocket—phones can fall on rough track sections and saltwater at snorkeling stops will damage electronics.

Local Knowledge

Hidden Gems

  • Santuario de Cura viewpoint near Puig de Randa for sunset panoramas
  • Small local cafés in the village of Randa serving ensaimadas and coffee away from Palma crowds

Wildlife

  • Balearic wall lizard
  • Mediterranean gulls and migratory waders

Conservation Note

Stay on designated tracks to avoid accelerating erosion on limestone slopes; respect private farmland and minimize noise in agricultural areas.

Puig de Randa has been a religious and hermit site for centuries; terraces and chapels reflect Roman, Moorish, and Catalan influences on Mallorca’s rural landscape.
