The Experience

Before You Go

Start before sunrise

A 5am pickup gets you to Sarangkot for clear morning views and firmer trail conditions before the heat and crowds arrive.

Check your bike fit

Ensure saddle height and brakes are adjusted during pickup—many of the descents are technical and demand confident handling.

Carry a basic repair kit

Bring a spare tube, patch kit, and a multi-tool; remote sections can take time to reach assistance.

Hydrate and pace

You’ll be at elevation and riding intermittently hard—drink regularly and eat the provided lunch to maintain energy.

Local Knowledge

Hidden Gems

  • Short climb to a small shrine above Ghatichhina for quiet panoramas of the Pokhara valley

Wildlife

Conservation Note

Stick to established trails to limit erosion on steep slopes; pack out plastics and avoid disturbing grazing livestock and sacred sites.
